Liam is an excellent, patient and fun teacher. My children really like him and have made a lot of progress. They’re not put off by the thought of practising as Liam sets only manageable amounts. He enthuses them about music generally, reading it as well as playing it – they look forward to their lessons. Great!

Liam is a very kind, calm and patient piano teacher. My daughters really enjoy their lessons with him. He seems genuinely interested in what they enjoy and plans his lessons accordingly, for example, my daughter enjoyed Sound Of Music, he taught her one of the songs. I would absolutely recommend him.

Liam is wonderful. My 6 year old son really enjoys his piano lessons. Liam has a fun but calm and focused approach, he really makes learning to play the piano enjoyable. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn!

My 8 years old daughter has been learning piano with Liam for just over a year. Liam has been very kind, patient and encouraging. My daughter always look so forward to her weekly piano session with him. Liam has the ability to make one feel comfortable in their ability and is always challenging my daughter to be better. Liam is a great piano teacher to my twelve year daughter. He has been teaching for the past six months and is very encouraging, inspiring and attentive. His relaxed approach to lessons allows her to have the flexibility and freedom to choose her own learning path. This keeps her enthusiasm to learn high and she practices with interest on her own in between lessons. I would highly recommend Liam to anyone.

Our son enjoys his lessons with Liam, who is enthusiastic, creative and reliable. Our son struggles with self-discipline and concentration, but Liam has helped him enjoy the piano and master the basics, building on the work of his Teach Tutti colleague before him. .

Liam has been teaching our daughter to play the piano for a year. We are very happy with him in every respect. She is progressing very well and he takes care to ensure she is working on pieces that she enjoys, hold her interest and challenge her. Consequently she loves playing the piano. For us, Liam is both a great teacher and excellent role model. He has developed a gentle rapport with our daughter and is flexible and supportive. We highly recommend him.

Our 16 year old daughter is taught piano by Liam and she is extremely happy with his teaching. Liam is a cheerful and relaxed teacher which really puts our daughter as ease for the lesson. His teaching is thorough and skilled and our daughter enjoys the lessons very much and practises with enthusiasm between lessons. We highly recommend Liam to others.

Liam is fabulous at engaging our 8 year old in his weekly violin lessons over the last 2 years. He is exceptionally calm and patient, using our son’s interests to motivate his skill development. The lessons are much anticipated and greatly enjoyed. Liam has a natural flair for explaining what is being worked on, to a non-musical parent so I can support my son. I would strongly recommend Liam as a music teacher to any family.

Liam teaches my 8 and 6 year old piano. He comes to our house and teaches my girls, as well as 3 other children (individual lessons). He is calm and patient with them, and the girls seem very comfortable with him and enjoy their lessons. They have made good progress.

Liam teaches my children (aged 5 and 8) piano. We have found him to be a patient, calm and reassuring teacher. The children enjoy their lessons and I am pleased with how they are progressing.

Liam has been teaching my son violin since he stopped his school lessons. He has been very thorough and patient and Freddie takes pleasure in playing now and looks forward to his weekly lessons.

We have found Liam Hindson to be very able to provide a good introduction to music for our son, helping him to focus and to start to learn the basics of piano. He copes beautifully with a very energetic six year old, calmly maintaining his attention on the lesson which is no mean feat!

Liam is really good with my 6 year old. He’s patient, enthusiastic, encouraging and my son responds very well to him. We only started the lessons a few weeks ago, but so far so good! I would certainly recommend Liam.

Liam has been teaching my 8 year old son violin (and now also piano) for over two years. I highly recommend him! My son was only six when he decided he wanted to learn violin and I was a little worried about how well he would concentrate. Liam is great at pitching the lesson for the individual and my son was engaged from the first lesson. He loves his music lessons and has progressed rapidly. Liam is really flexible and has been equally happy tutoring my son through music grade exams (which he passed with merit) and then, when my son decided he wanted to concentrate on music without exams for a while, helping him develop his technique and style with other pieces. Liam has a relaxed style which my son loves but he also has a real attention to detail and many subtle ways of introducing technique and honing skills without it becoming tedious. He also got a group of his young violinists to perform at the Crystal Palace Festival recently which was a great experience for them and a proud moment for us parents.

Liam is a calm, thoughtful and engaging tutor. He has reignited my daughter’s enthusiasm for playing the piano during a period when she had lost interest in learning. Liam brings a fun element to his lessons, while covering important theory and techniques that help my daughter to play with understanding rather than through memory. My daughter is working toward her Grade 4 ABRSM exam and feels confident with taking it in a few weeks time. She and I recommend Liam highly as a piano tutor.

Liam is a helpful and supportive teacher. Hes has been helping me to learn the violin for a year now and every lesson is fun and different. We are working towards my grade 5 and he has really helped me with the scales, which I really hate! He comes to my house so I don’t miss any lessons at school, and he is always on time. Liam was given the challenge to teach my 17 year old son the piano from beginner to grade 5 within 2 years. In march this year (18 months since beginning) my son will be sitting his grade 5 exam. Liam is friendly, enthusiastic, patient, encouraging and approachable.

Liam is a fantastic teacher – encouraging, very patient and thorough, and also relaxed and friendly. Our daughter loves her lessons with him and is making strong progress with her violin. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as a wonderful teacher for anyone.

My son started violin and piano tuition with Liam Hindson in Autumn 2013. I have been exceptionally happy with the style of tuition and the progress made. For Violin, my son was already working toward his Grade 3, which he has since passed with merit, followed by his Grade 4 and Grade 5. He is now enjoying working toward his Grade 6! Liam is very effective at breaking down tricky passages of the music and offering advice on ways to practice to improve confidence and overall progress with each piece. For piano, my son was new to the instrument and I have liked the very patient, encouraging and fun way in which Liam has taught each step, as they worked through Grade 1, 2 and now Grade 3 pieces.
